REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING

BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Council agenda for September 8, 2025, be adopted.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council approve the minutes of the August 11, 2025 Council meeting as distributed to all members.

THAT Council accept the Association of Municipalities of Ontario (AMO) 2025 Conference report for information.

THAT Council receive this report for information regarding drainage improvements completed by the Public Works Department during the summer of 2025 and to highlight the need for continued investment in our municipal drainage infrastructure.

THAT Council receive this report for information regarding the recently completed Cell Zero settling pond.

THAT Council receive the Communications Department's Quarterly Activity Report for information.

THAT Council receive the Building Department's Monthly Activity Report for information.

THAT Council authorize the alternative voting method of internet and telephone voting for the 2026 Municipal Elections; and THAT Council approve sole sourcing the provision of electronic voting services to Intelivote Solutions Inc. for the 2026 Municipal Elections.

THAT Council approves an allocation of $5,000, to be funded through the Economic Development Budget for 2025, to support the matching requirements of the Community Futures Grenville Grant awarded to the Township for the development of the Community Garden Project.

THAT Council approve the submission of an application under the Enhancing Access to Spaces for Everyone (EASE) Grant for the North Augusta Community Hall; and THAT Council authorize staff to engage with GrantMatch to assist with the writing and submission of the application on behalf of the Township of Augusta.

THAT Council approve the submission of an application under the New Horizons for Seniors Program-Community Based Projects; and THAT Council authorize staff to engage with GrantMatch to assist with the writing and submission of the application on behalf of the Township of Augusta.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT By-Law Numbered 3795-2025 being a By-Law to authorize the execution of a Development Agreement between Karl Ronald Collette and the Corporation of the Township of Augusta be read a first time, a second time, a third time, and be enacted as read.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT By-Law Numbered 3796-2025 being a By-Law to authorize the execution of a Development Agreement between Martin Wittfooth and Elizabeth Winnel and the Corporation of the Township of Augusta be read a first time, a second time, a third time, and be enacted as read.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT By-Law No. 3797-2025 being a By-Law to confirm the proceedings of Council of the Township of Augusta at its meeting held on September 8, 2025, be read a first time, a second time, a third time, and be enacted as read.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT this Council meeting be adjourned at 6:12pm p.m. until September 22, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. or at the call of the Mayor subject to need.

THAT Council approve the submission of an application under the New Horizons for Seniors Program-Community Based Projects; and THAT Council authorize staff to engage with GrantMatch to assist with the writing 5 of 7 and submission of the application on behalf of the Township of Augusta.
