Planning Advisory Committee

THAT the Committee agenda for April 1, 2026 be adopted.

THAT the Committee approve the minutes of the previous meeting as presented.

THAT the Planning Advisory Committee recommends that Severance Application B-17-26 be approved, subject to the following five (5) conditions of approval: That the balance of any outstanding taxes, including penalties and interest, (and any local improvement charges, if applicable) (roll no. 0706 000 025 00100) shall be paid to Augusta Township. That an acceptable reference plan, survey or legal description of the severed lands be submitted to Augusta Township. That the severed lands be rezoned to a site-specific Agricultural (A) zone to permit a minimum lot area of 0.63 ha (1.56 ac.) +/-; and that the retained lands be rezoned to a site-specific Agricultural (A) zone to prohibit any dwelling use or any type of residential occupancy. That the Township of Augusta’s Chief Building Official confirm that the existing barn/shed that straddles the new property line has been removed from the property (the applicant should consult with the Township regarding any required Demolition Permit). That all costs associated with fulfilment of conditions are at the applicant’s sole expense.

THAT the correspondence items are received and filed.

THAT this Committee meeting be adjourned at 5:55 p.m.
